Scout Adventure Day

Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts are invited to Longwood Gardens this fall to discover autumn’s colors and engage in learning stations that focus on the history of the property, champion trees, plants, insects, and careers that make Longwood one of the great gardens of the world.

Scouts will receive an Adventure Booklet with a map to navigate the Gardens at their own pace. Activities will include activities such as: pot-a-plant, tree and plant identification, seed sorting, birding, mapping, and insect exploration. Activity stations may meet partial requirements for Scout belt loops or badges. Stations are best suited for Scouts ages 6-12. Scouts must be accompanied by an adult chaperone.

All Scouts will receive a Longwood Fun Patch for participation. All fun patches are unofficial and designed to be worn on the back of any sash or vest.

Registration is required and space is limited. No refunds.

This is a rain or shine event.
Admission to Nightscape is not included. Buy before you arrive. Special ticket required. Tickets limited.

Tickets for Scout Adventure Day will go on sale August 8, 2016.
