About the Season
On View April 4 Through May 31
There isn’t a more beautiful season to explore every inch of our 1,077 acres than Spring Blooms.
Visit our world... and come to life.
Stroll through a rainbow of color as more than 240,000 tulips bloom, wander through Peirce's Woods where native azaleas and foam-flowers abound, and experience our Meadow Garden’s first spring, resplendent with flowering trees and a robust layer of herbaceous plants coloring the landscape.
Discover what's blooming throughout the Gardens during Spring Blooms.
Plan Your Visit Early!
After this winter we are all ready for the first signs of spring! Encourage your guests to buy timed admission tickets early as tickets are limited, and be sure to take advantage of our three Member Appreciation Days during Spring Blooms.
Longwood offers free parking for our guests.
During peak visitation times, free off-site parking may be used if our on-site lot is full. Transportation is provided between the off-site parking and the Visitor Center entrance. Please follow the signage and note the Longwood staff members directing traffic on peak visitation days.
