Geocaching

Use your GPS device to go on a self-guided adventure in finding one or all of these virtual geocaches located on the grounds of Longwood Gardens. Please note that admission to Longwood Gardens is required and that there are no cache containers at the coordinates. This is a fact-finding adventure only. All of the locations can be found without leaving the established pathways. Download and fill in your answers on the Geocaching Question Sheet and check the Answer Sheet to see if you correctly followed all the coordinates.

What's Up With Stink Bugs?

If you live in the mid-Atlantic region (or if you've visited in the Spring or Fall, when these pests are most active) you've probably noticed the pesky, smelly brown marmorated stink bug. These bugs—which probably entered the US in the late 1990s on cargo from Asia—are responsible for agricultural damage. However, they are not posionous and do not bite humans.
