For students who intend to create their own managed meadow, return for the afternoon session and learn about seed collection and treatment. This class is intended for those interested in obtaining, cleaning, and storing quantities of seed that are larger than a handful. Seed quantities are geared toward restoration or re-vegetation projects, nursery production, or seed sales/exchanges. Topics will include knowing the species, keeping records, interpreting visual changes in the seeds, collection, and post-collection handling. Collect seeds in our meadow to be ready for next year!
