The Longwood Organ is among the world’s great concert organs, with 146 ranks and 10,010 pipes. Newly restored in 2011, the organ captures an orchestral sound like no other. Hear it played by the most talented organists of today in our Ballroom.
Before or after the performance, tour Longwood's unique Organ Museum for an impressive behind the scenes look at the thousands of pipes!
International Organ Competition
Organists from around the globe compete in the ingaural Longwood Gardens International Organ Competition for the $40,000 Pierre S. du Pont First Prize, the largest cash prize of any organ competition in the world. Experience the preliminary and final round as 10 of the organ world's brightest young talents compete before a panel of renowned judges in a quest for the top prize.

Longwood Gardens Organ Crawl
Spend the day listening to some of the world’s finest organists playing some of the world’s finest organs during the Longwood Gardens Organ Crawl. Enjoy private, guided tours of the Wanamaker, Kimmel Center, and Longwood organs as you travel from location to location in the air conditioned comfort of a luxury motor coach. Organ buff and American Public Media's PIPEDREAMS host, Michael Barone, adds insight as our official Organ Crawl host.
