Amplify your students’ visit to Longwood through our self-directed curriculum activities.
These diverse activities allow you to set the pace for the day while engaging your class in meaningful exploration. Enjoy a day within our living classroom where you set the pace.
Each activity has a teacher page with goals and objectives, suggested materials, and standards links. Please download and print the student work pages for each student prior to visiting Longwood.
Reservations and Prices
For groups of 15 or more
Students: $3 (through September 30, 2014)
Students: $5 (beginning October 1)
Adults: $12 (through September 30, 2014; 1 adult admitted free per every 10 students)
Adults: $16 (beginning October 1; 1 adult admitted free per every 10 students)
Reservations are suggested for all self-directed options.
The use of the picnic area is an option for groups visiting for the day. The picnic area is located across the road, a short bus ride away. The picnic area is not a covered area, and does offer plenty of picnic tables and restrooms.
