Longwood employs seasonal employees in all areas of the Gardens. Hours vary by position. All seasonal employees receive free access to the Gardens, a discount at the Gardens Shop, and a discount at the Terrace Restaurant cafeteria when working.

Guest Services Seasonal Positions
For all positions work schedules may vary but could include weekends, evenings and holidays.
Guest Admissions Representatives
The seasonal Guest Admissions Representatives will be responsible for selling daily admission tickets, memberships, and special event tickets along with greeting and communicating pertinent Longwood information to our guests regarding current displays, exhibit, shows and events. We are looking for candidates who have exceptional customer service, communication and hospitality skills. Candidates must have experience with Microsoft Applications, as well as Point of Sale systems. Candidates should have excellent phone etiquette and be willing to work in a call center environment. Job requires the ability to work standing or sitting for long periods time, and the ability to work in all different weather environments at multiple different onsite ticketing venues. Longwood Gardens is open 365 days a year. The work schedule includes weekends, days, evenings and holidays.
The seasonal will be responsible for assisting the Plant Specialist in the Gardens Shop greenhouse. Duties will include assisting guests, processing plant shipments, maintaining and selling plants for the shop. The preferred candidate will be friendly, have excellent communication skills with a background in horticulture and retail. Duties will require some lifting. Hours will include evenings, weekends and holidays.
