Terrace Restaurant Job Opportunities

The Terrace at Longwood Gardens has the following positions available. Some positions may also offer part and full-time opportunities.

 

1st Cook

The 1st Cook must be able to work independently, read and follow recipes, complete production sheets, prepare high-production-quality food, supervise and work the closing shift. Must have 3 to 5 years of related work experience. Various work schedules are available. However, schedules may include weekends, evenings and holidays.

Banquet Servers

The Banquet Servers are responsible for serving guests and clearing tables. We are looking for customer service- oriented individuals who are able to communicate in English. Must have 2 to 3 years of experience in a high-volume quality-service environment. Various work schedules are available. However, schedules may include weekends, evenings and holidays.

Cashiers

The Cashier must be able to operate in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for customer service-oriented individuals who have excellent cash handling skills. Individuals in this position will also work as line servers as needed. The preferred candidate will have 1 to 2 years of cash handling experience. Various work schedules are available. However, schedules may include weekends, evenings and holidays.

Line Servers

The Line Server is responsible for serving guests throughout the day and maintaining a sanitized work station. We are looking for individuals who have some food knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Must have 1 to 2 years of experience. Various work schedules are available. However, schedules may include weekends, evenings and holidays.

Porter/Utility

The Porter is responsible for maintaining the neat appearance of the restaurant and cafeteria. We are looking for individuals familiar with dish washing and floor care. Various work schedules are available. However, schedules may include weekends, evenings and holidays.

Prep Cook

The Prep Cook assists with hot and cold food preparation for a high-volume eating facility while maintaining a sanitary work station. Applicants must be able to read and follow recipes as well as production records. Must have 3 years of related experience. Various work schedules are available. However, schedules may include weekends, evenings and holidays.
