In June 2013, Benjamin Sheen, 23, was crowned the winner of the Longwood Gardens International Organ Competition receiving the Pierre S. du Pont First Prize of $40,000 and a contract with Phillip Truckenbrod Concert Artists.

More about Benjamin Sheen

Sheen is the Assistant Organist at Saint Thomas Church on Fifth Avenue in New York. He recieved a masters degree from the Juilliard School where he studied with Paul Jacobs,  is a graduate of Oxford University with a first-class honors degree in music, and is increasingly gaining recognition as an international concert organist. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Organists and a recipient of the prestigious Worshipful Company of Musicians Silver Medal for 2011.
