Being able to identify common species of birds and their behaviors can make time spent outdoors even more enjoyable.
Learn to interpret courtship rituals of several species, and identify other behaviors so you can determine what the birds are doing in the spring. Between the two sessions, you’ll be asked to identify 15 different species and note a courtship or breeding behavior learned in class. We’ll compile these sightings to a worldwide database of bird sightings, including breeding behavior to help support the overall scientific understanding and conservation of birds.
This is a two session class that starts on April 17 at 6:30 pm. Following session occurs on May 1.
Please remember that many courses are extremely popular and will sell out quickly. Register now to begin your journey in lifelong learning at Longwood Gardens.
