Beautiful autumn colors and rich golden light combine to make the perfect setting for this photography class.
Start in the classroom with a brief illustrated lecture and demonstrations covering the basics of composition and emphasizing the impact of late day light. As the sun begins to set, grab your camera and head to the gardens to capture your own stunning images. Afterwards, the class will reassemble, download photos, and engage in a lively critique of each other's work.
This is a (1) session class on October 21 at 2:00 pm.
Please enter through the Business Entrance on Conservatory Road. Light dinner is included. Participants must bring their own digital photographic equipment and are encouraged to bring a laptop computer and a flash drive to download images for the afternoon critique. Another option is to bring a flash drive/CD with previously shot JPEG landscape images. Participants should have a working knowledge of their camera. Activities are NOT applicable to point and shoot cameras. A tripod is optional, but highly recommended.
