It's Alive: What's Living in the Garden?

Search the Gardens for live creatures large and small from tadpoles, fish, and insects to birds, cats, and of course, plants!

Investigate the life cycles of living things and discover what each needs to survive. Participate in Citizen Science projects like Birdsleuth and Project Budburst while exploring hidden spots at Longwood.

This summer camp is open to ages 6–12 on July 14–18, 9:00 am–12:00 pm.

Full Day Camp Option

Register for Art - Sketch It! A Sketchbook Journey through the Gardens on July 14–18, 1:00–4:00 pm for campers to spend full days in the Gardens during this week. 

Lunch Option

AVAILABLE ONLY IF REGISTERED FOR BOTH A Morning AND An afternoon CAMP AT LONGWOOD

Campers can enjoy a supervised bagged lunch in the Terrace Tent between 12:00 pm–1:00 pm. Campers must supply their own lunch. Phone registration is required for this option.
