Landscapes for Life Continuing Education
About this Class
Knowing the basics of sustainable practices in land management can lead to good decision making about your home landscape.
In this 5-session course, you’ll learn to work with nature by covering subjects such as soil biology, water management, and native plantings. You will create a long-term plan to improve the health, beauty, and habitat value of your property which will benefit your family as well as the surrounding community.
Each week you’ll have hands-on activities, lectures, and discussions. There is a course book to take home. On Saturday, March 8, join the group for an optional tour of a property in Kennett Square that has received certification as a Sustainable Site. Register one person and your spouse or partner attends for free. (One handbook per couple.)
