Many design lessons can be learned from studying meadows and other wild areas. This course will start by looking at examples of unmanaged areas to draw out elements that can be included in the design of gardens of any scale. Each student will develop a plant list and focus on their own project to design a garden, taking into account location, scale, cultural issues, plant selection, combinations, and succession.
This is a four session class that starts on February 18 at 6:30 pm. Following sessions occur on February 25, March 4 & 11.
Please remember that many courses are extremely popular and will sell out quickly. Register now to begin your journey in lifelong learning at Longwood Gardens.
