Mixed Media Continuing Education
About this Class
What happens when you combine two different medias - an easy and enjoyable technique that results in a vibrant life-like painting?
The first step is to paint a flat, one color simple shape which becomes the under-painting. Then applying, by layering and blending, wax based colored pencils. The combination creates a glowing painting with life-like depth and dimensionality. Demonstrations and step-by-step instruction, as well as specimens enhance the afternoon workshop. No previous experience in either watercolor or colored pencils is needed.
