Meadows are a diverse component of our natural landscape, but their planting and management require some fundamental knowledge, thought, and planning. Come and view more closely our Meadow Garden and see the real diversity of both mature and recently renovated meadow spaces. Through a step-by-step look at two specific projects, this lecture and extended walk covers the why, how, what, when, and where of what it takes to develop and manage an aesthetically rich, environmentally functional, thriving native plant community.

Dress for an indoor/outdoor learning experience with substantial unpaved trail walking involved.
