Nooks and Crannies: Photographing Fountains, Pump House and the Chimes Tower Continuing Education
About this Class
Have you ever wondered how our spectacular fountains work or where all that water comes from? Find out by taking advantage of this rare opportunity to see the workings of two engineering marvels and participate in a guided photo shoot.
After a brief introduction and the opportunity to hear the history of the fountains from “insiders,” you will have time to photograph in the pump house, climb the stairs into the Chimes Tower and shoot from on high, and, if you dare, stand next to the fountains while they beguile visitors. To ensure that you get the most out of your day, the last hour will focus on a critique of images you’ve captured during the session. A materials list will accompany your confirmation email. Participants must bring their own digital photographic equipment and are encouraged to bring a laptop computer and a flash drive to download images for critique. Participants should have a working knowledge of their camera. Some activities are not applicable to point and shoot cameras. A tripod is optional, but highly recommended.
This is a one session class on May 2 at 8:00 am-12:00 pm.
