Plant Physiology and Anatomy Continuing Education
About this Class
Gain an appreciation of the chemical processes that enable plants to make their own food and utilize it for growth and development.
Improve your gardening skills by understanding a plant's response to its environment and how this is translated into chemical triggers called hormones. Gardening practices are based on the anatomy of leaves, roots, and stems; an understanding of these will make sense of the proper methods of pruning, transplanting, training, and growing healthy plants.
This is a 6 session course that starts on September 30, 2013. Following sessions occur on October 7, 14, 21, 28, & November 4.
