Trough Making Continuing Education
About this Class
Container gardening continues to soar in popularity, and stone-like troughs give gardeners a weatherproof option for displaying plantings.
This class will cover the method of making troughs, paving stones, or birdbaths out of cement, paper, perlite, and a little creativity. Every student will create and take home a small trough, along with the knowledge to make more.
Wear old clothes and bring a pair of well fitting, heavy-duty waterproof dishwashing gloves. Dust masks will be provided. We will be working outside, so please dress appropriately. Hats and sunscreen are suggested.
This is a one session class on April 25 at 9:00 am.
Please enter through the Business Entrance at 409 Conservatory Road. Please remember that many courses are extremely popular and will sell out quickly. Register now to begin your journey in lifelong learning at Longwood Gardens.
