Nightscape Visiting Tips

Nightscape closed Oct 29, 2016

Top Ten Tips to Make the Most of Your Nightscape Experience:

  1. Nightscape is at night. Darkness is required to fully enjoy Nightscape. Each month viewing start times vary: in August, optimal viewing begins at 9:00 pm; in September, optimal viewing begins at 8:00 pm; in October, optimal viewing begins at 7:00 pm. The Gardens close at 11:00 pm.

  2. Special tickets and Member reservations are required to view Nightscape, and sell out is likely. Members' admission to Nightscape is free, however reservations are required for adults and children. Guests included in your Membership and children under 4 years of age must be accounted for when making your reservation. Gardens Premium Members and those included in their Membership level don’t require reservations to view Nightscape. Be mindful when making reservations. To preserve this special benefit for all of our Members, please only make reservations for dates you plan to attend. For all guests not included in your Membership and all other non-Member guests, a special ticket is required to view NightscapeTickets and reservations are limited, sell out likely.

  3. Come early! Your Nightscape ticket includes all day admission to the Gardens (9:00 am–11:00 pm). Arrive early and be sure to enjoy our beautiful Gardens at dusk, our popular Beer Garden featuring Victory Brewing Company, and special programs on select evenings.

  4. Shop & Dine. Our GardenShop, Café, 1906, and new Beer Garden are available to you. Guests require a Nightscape Member reservation or ticket to experience the Beer Garden. Our Beer Garden opens at 6:00 pm. Make a reservation in our fine dining restaurant 1906 at opentable.com.

  5. Be prepared for weather. Nightscape is a rain or shine, indoor and outdoor experience. Please dress accordingly and wear comfortable shoes.

  6. Print your tickets or Member reservations at home. To avoid lines, we encourage you to print your barcoded tickets or reservations at home. Or, go paperless and open your tickets on your smartphone prior to entering the Visitor Center for scanning.

  7. Expect 90 minutes or more to view all of Nightscape. Shuttle service is not provided. Scooters, wheelchairs, and strollers are available on a first-come, first-served basis in the Visitor Center.

  8. If you’re not attending Nightscape, Gardens close at 6:00 pm. Our Gardens will close at 6:00 pm to non-Nightscape ticketholders and Members without reservations.
