More about Tony Bennett

Bennett found his voice at a young age while growing up in New York City in the 1920s and 30s. His music career took a backseat when he served in World War II, but afterward he landed a contract with Columbia Records and has never turned back. His first number one hit, "Because of You," was released in 1951. Bennett has released more than 70 albums, eight of which have gone Gold, and more than 30 singles that reached the charts. The jazz singer, painter and author may be in his 80s, but that hasn't slowed him down.
