Some areas of the Gardens may be closed during your visit.

Our fountain season in the Main Foutain Garden officially begins on May 9 and ends in the fall. You may see water starting to flow in mid-April as we bring our fountains back online after their winter break. Our Open Air Theatre and Italian Water Garden fountains begin running in mid-April and turn off in mid-October.

Our grand Conservatory display spaces remain open throughout Longwood Reimagined: A New Garden Experience (opening fall 2024). During your visit, you may see and hear work being done as we reimagine the area. Learn more about our progress.

Our Chrysanthemum Festival, normally scheduled for October and November, will be taking a pause in 2024. We look forward to bringing the display back in 2025.

Member Reservations

Timed Reservations required for Members Wednesday–Monday from open to close (including Morning Hour for Members) March 30–May 5, 2024. Reservations not required for Gardens Premium Members and Innovators.

Complimentary Guest Tickets

Comp tickets may be used for one-time general admission and are not valid for specially ticketed events and blackout days during A Longwood Christmas. Additional timed admission tickets/reservations not required.

Blackout days are all Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays during A Longwood Christmas through January 1, 2024, and every day December 22 through January 1, 2024. Other blackout dates may apply; check your tickets to see additional restrictions.

Military Discount

US Military & Veterans may purchase discounted tickets online, and a separate valid ID (US Veterans with valid ID, active and retired members of the US military and their spouses with Department of Defense or Department of Veterans Affairs ID) must be presented for admission for each discounted ticket.

SNAP EBT (all states accepted) and Pennsylvania ACCESS

Cardholders may purchase General Admission online for up to four individuals ages 5 and up at $2 each. For certain experiences, there may be a higher fee. Children 4 and under are free. The SNAP EBT or PA ACCESS named cardholder must be present for the visit with a matching valid photo ID. Not valid for specially ticketed events, including Fireworks & Fountains. The discount is available every day during A Longwood Christmas. However, we cannot accommodate if we are sold out.
