Courses are available for teachers through Longwood Gardens and West Chester University. Courses are available both onsite and online.
Longwood offers a Co-Op program for students enrolled in their senior year of high school or enrolled in an undergraduate technical college program.
Our College Internship Program and International Gardener Training Program offer hands-on experience to prepare individuals for careers in horticulture and related arts and sciences.
The two-year Professional Gardener Program combines a rigorous academic curriculum with hands-on training to prepare individuals for careers in horticulture.
The Longwood Graduate Program at the University of Delaware helps students who are already competent and experienced in ornamental horticulture to train for a leadership career in public horticulture.
Lectures, Courses, and Workshops offered by our Continuing Education department allow students—from hobbyists to professional gardeners—to develop their skills and knowledge.
Longwood Gardens' Library and Archives offers materials in horticulture, botany, and the allied arts and sciences, as well as a wealth of resources on Longwood's history.
