Activities and supplies are created for groups of 15 students. There are two levels of Meadow Garden Backpacks available. The primary level is appropriate for participants ages 6–12, or in grades K–5. The secondary level is appropriate for participants ages 13–18, or in grades 6–12.

The Meadow Garden Backpack can be reserved for $10, in addition to the self-guided rate of $5 per student and $19 per adult. Please note 1 adult will be admitted free for every 7 students. Backpacks are available at the Group Visits Desk in the Visitor Center. A valid credit card and a completed information form will be required. Reservations should be made prior to your arrival.

Backpacks include activities that meet partial requirements for these Scout achievements:

  • Find Your Way: Master the art of orienteering while using pedometers and compasses to calculate distance and direction.
  • Pollination Station: Discover the relationship between pollinators and plants as you learn about pollinators and experience hand pollinating flowers.

Meadow Garden Backpack for 6–12

Activities
