Beginning basic equipment selections and camera care, manual settings on a digital camera (ISO, shutter speed, and f/stop) will start the class. Class materials and assignments will be devoted to seeing and composing through the lens (zooming, focus), exposure and metering, direction, and quality of light. The final assignments challenge you to use color to capture a mood. This class also covers basic editing techniques (level, color correction, black and white, and file sizes).
