National Geographic Explorer Roger Mustalish will delve into the relationship between the plants of the Americas and our lives. With an astounding diversity of flora, many of these plants have the power to cure ailments, nourish us, and provide the fundamentals for life. Following an introduction into the fascinating world of ethnobotany, enjoy a botanically rich menu of small bites inspired by the indigenous cuisine of South America. Complete the day with a tour through Longwood’s collection of tropical plants and native flora to see these plants first-hand.
