Lisa Lonie is the university carillonneur of Princeton University (New Jersey), and resident carillonneur at St. Thomas' Church, Whitemarsh (Pennsylvania), and at The Church of the Holy Trinity (Philadelphia), home of the oldest carillon in North America. She is a carillon instructor for the North American Carillon School, is a member of the Guild of Carillonneurs in North America (GCNA), and currently serves on the Music Heritage committee of the GCNA.
Ms. Lonie has performed in international carillon festivals including the prestigious Bok Tower festival (2017), in several national congresses of the GCNA, as guest carillonneur for the 2002 National Convention of the American Guild of Organists, and as an invited recitalist at the World Carillon Federation (WCF) Congress in Aschaffenburg, Germany.
Ms. Lonie is no stranger to Longwood Gardens, having frequently performed solo recitals and duets with brass ensembles. Over 5,000 copies of her CD, The Bells of Christmas at Longwood Gardens have been sold and she has appeared on the NBC television special Ringing in the Holidays at Longwood Gardens.
Besides her musical interests, she is the Executive Assistant to the President of Salus University, and resides in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania with husband, Paul, their children, and assorted wildlife.
