Come along and be a witness to what time can do in the landscape. We’ll visit champion trees—the biggest, tallest, and oldest trees in our region—as we travel from Longwood to Bucks County. Participate in citizen science by measuring and recording tree circumferences, heights, and spreads. Discuss tree identification, structure, and natural history. Standing at the base of one of these giant trees is an indescribable experience.
This is a rain-or-shine outdoor experience. Please dress for all types of weather and wear comfortable walking shoes. You may be walking on uneven paths. Trip leaves promptly at 8:00 am.
Our off-site trips include trees we may have visited in prior years and will have a similar route in both spring and fall.
Meet in Visitor Center Parking Lot
