This is a rare opportunity to join one of the foremost garden designers and educators in the UK, James Alexander-Sinclair, for an intimate design workshop. At a public garden, it’s easy to be distracted by the diversity of plantings, the intrigue of an intensively designed landscape, and one can get lost in the scale and proportion of grandeur. Decode design concepts to leverage innovative ideas in a landscape of nearly any scale. Discuss hardscape elements, plant combinations, and make the intangible tangible using Longwood Gardens and the great gardens of England as your models.

This workshop is intended for professionals in the landscape design profession, public horticulture, students in Landscape Design, Landscape Architecture, and serious gardeners. Please bring all drafting supplies with you as the last portion of the course will be dedicated to a design exercise.
