As we all continue to work together to limit the spread of COVID-19, we have made the difficult decision to cancel remaining Scout programs through September 30. Ticket buyers will be contacted with information about receiving a refund.
Journey through the Gardens and discover the role of trees and plants in our ecosystem. Scouts will learn about the historic trees on the property, how a tree becomes a champion, and how to decipher a tree's life story.
Appropriate for Ages 9–11. During the two-hour program the Scout group will complete Into the Woods badge requirements: visit a public garden, identify two different groups of trees, identify six trees common to the area, identify the layers of a tree, and make a list of items that are made from wood. Scouts will receive a Scout Activity Booklet and earn a Longwood Fun Patch.
Advance registration required. This group program is available for Troops or Dens up to 30 Scouts; based on availability.
