About this Indoor Garden
Walk through this cool, green passageway of ferns and explore both familiar and exotic specimens from our collection.
Boston, rabbit’s-foot and bird’s-nest ferns grow here among other tropical plants, including a fascinating collection of insect-catching plants such as pitcher plants and Venus fly traps.
History of this Garden
Part of the original Conservatory, the Fern Passage opened directly to the Rose House to the south. A glass wall to separate the two spaces was added when the original brick floor of the Fern Passage was replaced.
