Trough Making Continuing Education
About this Class
Container gardening continues to soar in popularity, and stone-like troughs give gardeners a weatherproof option for displaying plantings.
This class will cover the method of making troughs, paving stones, or birdbaths out of cement, paper, perlite, and a little creativity. Every student will create and take home a small trough, along with the knowledge to make more.
Wear old clothes and bring a pair of well fitting, heavy-duty waterproof dishwashing gloves and a sturdy dust mask. We will be working outside, so please dress appropriately. Hats and sunscreen are suggested.
This is a one session class on May 2 at 9:00 am–12:30 pm.
