With our free, award-winning, in-classroom virtual programs, Longwood educators deliver lessons directly into your classroom, engaging your students through video, images, hands-on activities, and more.

    Green Careers

    NEW - Go behind the scenes at one of the world’s great gardens and meet the professionals who help it thrive. Explore potential career pathways in both horticulture and other diverse roles that support this work. Engage with a Longwood Educator, ask questions, and gain insight into this dynamic field.

  • Grades 6–8

    Plant Survival

    Travel through both tropical and desert gardens located inside Longwood’s Conservatory virtually and examine adaptations that these amazing plants exhibit for their survival.
    Interact with an educator and explore these survival adaptations through video and images and focus on live plants during this curriculum-based lesson.
