October 23: Fountain Fest Weekend
New this year! Experience a hauntingly immersive Illuminated Fountain Performance that blends classic silent film, live organ music, and our dynamic fountains. The performance opens with clips from the 1922 vampire horror film Nosferatu projected onto the fountains and accompanied by an original score created and performed live on the Longwood Organ by Principal Organist Peter Richard Conte. As he plays, select projections of Conte are also woven into the display. For the second half, Conte continues with a live playlist of additional pieces, enhanced by spooky-inspired visuals projected across the dancing fountains—culminating in a chilling and eerily captivating performance.
