Organ Academy Application

The Longwood Organ Academy is open to those currently enrolled in an organ degree program.

Application Process

Applications must include the following:

  • Completed application
  • An audio or video recording (see Audition Requirements below)
  • The audition pieces’ sheet music
  • A brief biography in English (maximum 150 words)

Audition Requirements

Each applicant must be a student currently enrolled in an organ degree program. Students must submit an audio or video recording that best displays their playing level and ability. The recording should be no more than 15 minutes in length. Please remember this summer program focuses on transcriptions. If you do not have a transcription for your audition, please know you will be expected to have one ready to work on if accepted into the Organ Academy. Students must provide a copy of their audition pieces’ sheet music, preferably in PDF form.

Accommodations & Transportation

Students who are accepted and will attend the Academy are expected to pay the tuition of $1,000. Tuition includes housing, meals, and local transportation during the Academy as well as to and from the Philadelphia International Airport.
