Longwood Memberships and the benefits of Membership (Membership Benefits) are exclusively for non-commercial use by individual Members and are non-transferable for any purpose.
Refund Policy
Ticket, Membership, and Gift Card sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable and may not be exchanged for another date and time. Lost or stolen tickets will not be refunded or replaced.
If you cancel your Continuing Education or Conference registration, your registration fee (less $30.00 processing fee) will be refunded if notice of cancellation is received at least two weeks before the event. To notify us of your cancellation, email continuingeducation@longwoodgardens.org or call 610-388-5454.
Tickets
Admission to Longwood Gardens is by timed admission only. Timed admission limits the number of people in the Gardens, providing a better visiting experience. We strongly encourage buying tickets before you arrive to avoid disappointment. Tickets are limited and sell out is likely on popular days. The ticket time you choose determines your arrival and entrance to the Gardens. Earlier or later arrivals may not be accommodated. Once you enter the Gardens, you may stay as long as you wish. Please note that the restaurant is located inside the Gardens. Please buy an earlier timed ticket if you wish to eat in the restaurant before exploring the Gardens. Please keep your ticket and show it in the Visitor Center if you wish to leave and re-enter the Gardens on the same day during regular Garden hours.
Travel Time
Please take into consideration that you may experience heavier-than-usual traffic when traveling to the gardens during the holiday season. There is a short outdoor walk required to reach the Conservatory and Terrace Restaurant.
Weather
Longwood displays are located indoors and outdoors. Please dress accordingly. Walking is required. Longwood will make every effort to hold performances as scheduled. Cancellation of a performance is dependent on weather conditions at Longwood. The decision to cancel a performance will be made as close to show time as possible.
Amenities
Electric scooters, wheelchairs, and strollers are available on a first-come, first-served basis, weather conditions permitting. Rental fees may apply.

Tickets are uniquely numbered for scanning verification and logging at time of entry. Any attempt to gain a second entry with a reprinted or copied ticket will be rejected and may result in immediate investigation by Security personnel.
During your visit you may be filmed, videotaped, and/or photographed by a Garden employee or contract photographer. Your attendance serves as permission for the use of your image by the Garden and its constituents.
Parking
We offer free on-site parking in our tree-lined lot. During high volume visitation times, free off-site parking may be used if our on-site lot is full. Shuttle service is provided between the off-site parking and the Visitor Center entrance. Please follow the signage and note the Longwood staff members directing traffic on high volume days.
Guests may drop off passengers at the entrance using the double traffic lane in front of the Visitor Center. Guests with valid disability parking permits will find reserved accessible parking available at the front of the parking lot, close to the Visitor Center entrance.
Two charging stations for plug-in electric/hybrid cars are available in our Visitor Center Parking Lot. Charging stations have the industry standard "J1772" plug and operate with a 240 volt, 30 amp AC circuit. They are available to guests free of charge.
Membership
All sales are final and nonrefundable. Memberships and Membership Benefits are exclusively for non-commercial use by individual Members and cannot be sold or transferred. To preserve the integrity of the Membership program, one named cardholder(s) must be present to gain admission. Please present photo ID with Membership card(s). Discounts on special events and performances may apply, if included in Membership level. Member discount cannot be applied to alcohol purchases.
All Memberships, regardless of level, are licenses revocable at will by Longwood Gardens. A Membership will automatically be revoked if a Member, or any guest of a Member, breaches the guidelines set forth in the Visiting Tips, the rules of conduct, or any other restrictions applicable to a Member or any admittee to Longwood Gardens. Memberships are not automatically renewable and shall expire after the Membership term, one or two years, which is specified at purchase. Longwood Gardens may, in its sole discretion and with or without cause, permanently revoke an individual’s right to purchase a Membership, and ban or otherwise prevent an individual from attending events or functions at Longwood Gardens or otherwise entering Longwood Gardens. Longwood Gardens reserves the right to alter, close or remove exhibits without prior notice. Pricing, Terms and Conditions are subject to change without notice.
Members-only events are for active Members only, unless noted otherwise. One-time use complimentary guest tickets may not be used for admission to Members-only events.
Complimentary guest tickets are for one-time general admission. Specially ticketed events and blackout date restrictions apply. Complimentary guest tickets are valued at $21 each, are not replaceable, and may not be used for Member-only events.
Gift Membership
All permanent materials, including Membership card(s), are mailed directly to the gift recipient within 2-4 weeks. Gift Memberships purchased online start the date they are purchased and such recipients are subject to the terms and conditions of the Membership purchased.
Longwood Gardens Gift Cards
Gift Cards ordered online will be sent to the Purchaser. Please allow 2–4 weeks for delivery. All sales are final.
Redemption
Longwood Gardens Gift Cards must be redeemed toward the purchase of products available either on site or through our affiliated website on longwoodgardens.org. Gift Cards may be redeemed for any product offered through our ticketing, Gift Shop or Restaurant venue. Purchases are deducted from the Longwood Gardens Gift Card balance. Any unused balance remains in the recipient's Longwood Gardens Gift Card account when redeemed. If an order exceeds the amount of the recipient's Longwood Gardens Gift Card, the balance must be paid with a credit card or other available payment method. Longwood Gardens will provide Gift Card purchasers with information about the redemption status of their Gift Cards, including available Card balances, upon request. In the event of a return of an order or product using a gift card or both a gift card and a credit, debit card or other method of payment, returned amounts will be credited back to a gift card, unless otherwise required by law.
Limitations
Longwood Gardens Gift Cards may not be redeemed for the purchase of products that are not offered by Longwood Gardens, Inc. Longwood Gardens Gift Cards cannot be reloaded, resold, transferred for value, redeemed for cash or applied to any other account, except to the extent required by law. Unused Longwood Gardens Gift Card balances will remain in perpetuity on a recipient’s Gift card until redeemed for applicable products offered by Longwood Gardens, Inc. Longwood Gardens Gift Cards have no expiration date. There are no service fees imposed by Longwood Gardens on unredeemed gift card balances.
Risk of Loss
The risk of loss and title for Longwood Gardens Gift Cards pass to the purchaser upon receipt. We are not responsible if a Longwood Gardens Gift Card is lost, stolen, destroyed or used without your permission.
Fraud
Longwood Gardens, Inc. will have the right to obtain alternative forms of payment if a fraudulently obtained Longwood Gardens Gift Card is redeemed and/or used to make purchases at either our facility or our affiliated website as set forth above.
Limitation of Liability
LONGWOOD GARDENS, INC. MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO IT’S GIFT CARDS, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IN THE EVENT A LONGWOOD GARDENS GIFT CARD CODE IS NON-FUNCTIONAL, YOUR SOLE REMEDY, AND OUR SOLE LIABILITY, SHALL BE THE REPLACEMENT OF SUCH GIFT CARD. CERTAIN STATE LAWS DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES. IF THESE LAWS APPLY TO YOU, SOME OR ALL OF THE ABOVE DISCLAIMERS, EXCLUSIONS, OR LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU, AND YOU MIGHT HAVE ADDITIONAL RIGHTS.
General Terms
When you purchase, receive or redeem a Longwood Gardens Gift Card, you agree that the laws of the State of Pennsylvania, without regard to principles of conflict of laws, will govern these Gift Card terms and conditions. Longwood Gardens, Inc. reserves the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time in its discretion. All terms and conditions are applicable to the extent permitted by law.
