It’s been 10 years since we debuted our expanded Meadow Garden!
Celebrate with us with a variety of strolls, talks, and opportunities to experience all this beautiful space means to Longwood—and to our region.
Our 86-acre designed natural landscape takes you beyond Longwood’s formal areas into an exploration-ready Pennsylvania Piedmont landscape, showcasing land stewardship techniques that beautifully blend horticulture and ecology.
Here, in an important habitat that is increasingly rare in our region—and amid miles of walking trails, bridges, pavilions, boardwalks, native flowers and grasses, open fields, ponds, wetlands, and the forest’s edge—discover the complex interrelationship of plants and animals to one another. Learn how we work year-round to maintain and augment the health, vigor, and resilience of the Meadow Garden.
While you’re here, join us for that evening’s Festive Friday: Party Like It’s 1999.
Please note: To provide an enjoyable experience, capacity is limited for our strolls and talks.
