Longwood Gardens promotes a culture of learning and collaboration. Volunteers have the opportunity to learn new skills and gain experience while working alongside staff, students, and volunteer colleagues in supporting one of the world’s greatest gardens.

Through their efforts, volunteers contribute to the beauty of the gardens, the success of our programs, and the enjoyment and experience of our guests.

Longwood provides opportunities to learn and experience the Gardens. Volunteers enjoy free Gardens Admission and discounts on dining, shopping, and performances. In addition to training specific to their role, volunteers have access to the Volunteer HUB website, Longwood’s Library, tours just for volunteers, and discounted Continuing Education classes.
