Students who have completed the requirements for the Floral Design Certificate are eligible to take the two-part Floral Design Certificate Exam. The written test includes identification of flowers and floral design-related materials. Candidates are also required to create a floral design in an advanced style to be designated by the instructor.

Study materials are available to qualified students via our online classroom.
You will complete your floral design at home and upload photos and a video of your design. You must achieve a minimum of 70% on the written and practical exam to earn the Certificate of Merit in Floral Design.
Flowers for the hands-on portion of the exam will be delivered to your home on Wednesday, Sept. 22. Documentation of your completed project must be uploaded to the online classroom by midnight on Friday, October 1
The online written exam must also be completed by midnight on Friday, October 1.
