Did you know trees are more than just part of the landscape? They’re also important homes for many animals, especially birds! Join us for a fun, educational, and hands-on workshop designed for families. Explore how birds use tree holes, called cavities, to build nests and protect their young. Learn how, as older trees are removed for safety, these special nesting spots are disappearing, meaning birds need our help! Working together, build a cavity nest box to take home and place in your backyard, providing a safe space for birds to thrive. Includes materials for each registered participant to create a project.
This workshop is for registered participants only, aged five and older. We cannot accommodate unregistered people or youth under five.
Location
The Grove, Studio 104/105
