This hands-on session includes vital identification and management strategies for broadleaf and grassy weeds common to landscape, turf, and roadside sites. Specialized instruction will focus on life cycles, key characteristics, and plant structures useful in identification practices.

Tanner Delvalle
Tanner Delvalle is a commercial horticulture educator with Penn State Cooperative Extension for both Schuylkill and Berks Counties. His major focus areas include green industry, turf maintenance, weed control, vegetables, fruit, berries, and Christmas tree production. He received an MS in agronomy from Penn State, a BS in turfgrass science from Penn State, and an AAS in logistics from the Community College of the Air Force. Delvalle's professional experience includes golf course maintenance, a sales consultant for a green industry supplier, director of a lawn care company, and six years in the US Air National Guard.
