Fee includes all day Gardens admission on the date of the class.

Registrations may be cancelled up to two weeks before the event, and your registration fee, less a $30 processing fee, will be refunded. Please note that refunds are not available for programs moved to scheduled inclement weather dates.

Join horticulturist Katharine Startup Barrie in this hands-on class and learn how to get ready for this seasonal slumber by taking the necessary pruning, editing, weeding, and soil-health steps. Explore how to take care of your non-hardy plants via seed saving, propagation, storage, and winter care. Then, discuss how to amplify your winter garden by enticing native pollinators and beneficials to seek refuge in your space during the cold months.
