This workshop is an independent youth learning experience, designed for ages 9-14. Workshops are staffed by Longwood Educators; individuals with educational expertise that possess the required clearances. One accompanying adult (18+) may enjoy the Gardens during the 90-minute workshop.

Registrations may be canceled up to two weeks before the event, and your registration fee, less a $10 processing fee, will be refunded.

Build your own terracotta character! Get ready for a hands-on, imaginative workshop just for you! In this creative session, design and build a one-of-a-kind terracotta character using an assortment of clay pots in different sizes.

Paint, stack, and assemble your pots to bring your character to life—then top it off with a live plant to complete the look. Whether your creation is silly, stylish, or totally unexpected, it will be the perfect decoration for your porch, garden, or favorite outdoor spot. Come ready to get crafty, have fun, and make something uniquely yours!
