Spring is synonymous with colorful and vibrant displays of tulips, hyacinths, and daffodils, yet there is another aspect to the season that often goes unnoticed. Equally enchanting is life at the forest floor, which is dominated by moss, fungi, and subdued shades of green that emerge as the days grow longer and the snow recedes. In this hands-on virtual workshop, we will provide all the material you need to create along with Jennifer Reed as she shows you how to transform a grapevine wreath, using mosses and woodland accents, into a captivating focal point that brings spring into your home.
This hands-on workshop includes a 3-hour live-streamed demonstration, a recording of the event available to you for three months, all materials needed, and a list explaining the components used to construct this elegant spring wreath that can adorn your door or tablescape.
Note: You must pick up your materials at Longwood Gardens on Wednesday, March 24, either between 8 and 10 am or 4 and 6 pm.
This course counts as an elective in Longwood’s Floral Design Certificate program.
Registration for this event closes on Monday, March 15.
