Learn the fundamentals of plant identification through a study of garden favorites that will add a burst of color and texture to your landscape. Through photo stories, online fact pages, an e-book, flash cards, vocabulary games, and hundreds of beautiful images, learn the key identifying characteristics of these plants while gaining the skills to identify other plants you’ll encounter outside of the class.

Course Credit
This course counts as a three-week elective toward a Certificate in Landscape Design.
Course Schedule
Choose the instructor-led version for live sessions, graded activities, discussion forums, completion certificates, and personal feedback from the instructor. Activities will be completed within a six-week timeframe, with an additional six months of access after the course ends.
Choose the self-study version to work at your own pace, on your own, with one year of access to the material from the time of enrollment. (This version of the course has no live components, graded activities, discussion forums, or feedback.)
