Capture the beauty of nature in clay as you create a set of handcrafted dessert plates featuring impressions of plants inspired by the stunning collections of Longwood Gardens.
During this hands-on workshop at Centered Clay Studio in Kennett Square, learn slab-building techniques to form functional plates; explore methods for pressing leaves, needles, and other botanical materials into clay to create intricate textures and patterns; and use pigments to enhance the natural beauty and add color. The Studio will glaze and return your plates to Longwood for pickup within two weeks.
