Wondering how you can grow a successful garden that deer won’t eat? This class will give you the basics to do so!
We begin with a lecture on deer-resistant native plants in our Visitor Center Auditorium, then venture out into the Gardens to discuss deer-repelling best practices that can be implemented to protect your plants, shrubs, and trees. View samples of deer-resistant fencing, see a demonstration on how to cage shrubs effectively to prevent buck rub, and learn about a newly introduced buck rub repellant. Bring this knowledge home to help you better maintain a beautiful and resilient landscape.
Location
Visitor Center Auditorium and throughout the Gardens
