Some may be familiar to local gardeners while others, including colorful hardy Opuntia and barrel cacti, might come as a surprise. Jessie Keith has been growing these waterwise plants in her Wilmington, Delaware garden for years and shares her tips and tricks for getting these xeric plants to survive our winters and thrive in our summers. Keith demonstrates trough planting before students create their own hardy succulent trough gardens.
