Beyond its practical benefits, gardening can also be a great tool for mental wellbeing. Join certified horticulture therapist Kathy Andrzejewski in an exploration on the benefits of nature and the therapeutic properties of gardening. Take a relaxing stroll through the Gardens, discovering the elements of a therapeutic garden and how to enjoy the benefits of nature. You will leave with a better understanding on how to make your own therapeutic garden at home. 

Location

Visitor Center Auditorium and Throughout Gardens

This program will take place partially or entirely outdoors. Please dress for the weather and wear footwear suited for walking on uneven paths and through wet areas.
