Over the course of The Longwood Fellows Program, the 2021–2022 cohort has worked to meaningfully improve leadership capacities through practical tools relevant to public gardens by creating: Making an Impact! A Toolkit for Advancing Employee Development.
The project is a set of strategic development tools leaders can use to cultivate their teams and unite them in achieving their mission, vision, and goals. This includes current demographic trends, the current state of the industry, relationship strengthening, skill development, feedback, hiring, and onboarding with the use of assessments, guides, question banks, tables, and firsthand experience provided by industry leaders.
